Ben Bernfeld, the head of hmaudio, is THE TONMEISTER!
Ben was trained in Germany by his father, the legendary Dr. Benjamin Bernfeld, who recorded some of the most distinguished European stars
in the classical music field. Ben has done some outstanding work for the PHOENIX Ensemble of early instruments, of which I am the musical director.
He not only recorded several of our CDs, but did also the editing and the mastering of all of them. Last but not least, with his magic mastering touch, Ben many times saved audio files poorly recorded or with problems. His work enabled us to put lots of material on youtube,
as well as to send demos which would make justice to the quality of our work.
Ben Bernfeld is certainly Israel's most distinguished Tonmeister and an international name in the field. We, of the PHOENIX Ensemble, highly recommend him, and are indebted to the excellence of his work.
